The studio is led by Katjuša Kranjc and Rok Kuhar, partners in both life and practice. Our work is grounded in a continuous search for balance between interior and exterior, old and new, private and public, the functional and the poetic.

Our practice encompasses architecture, interior and industrial design. We are interested in working across different scales, from space to object, and in the relationships that emerge between them. Each project is approached as a coherent whole, developed from the initial concept through to the smallest detail, bringing established knowledge into dialogue with the exploration of new materials and ways of working with them.

We are conscious that our work leaves lasting traces in space and therefore approach each intervention with responsibility and sensitivity towards what is already present. We respect and build upon the existing, while understanding the new as an opportunity to introduce new qualities. Where quality exists, we recognise it. Where it does not, we create it.

Our practice extends beyond the studio. Since 2017, Rok has brought his experience and knowledge gained through practice into his teaching as a university lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana, sharing it with younger generations of designers. In 2023, Katjuša founded Design Corner Ljubljana, a platform dedicated to the promotion and sale of Slovenian design.
